Chief Minister Dr. Yadav laid a strong foundation for all-round development of Madhya Pradesh: Union Home Minister Shah

Bhopal : Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has described the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to organize a series of regional investment conferences for the balanced development of Madhya Pradesh as visionary. He said that this initiative was taken by Narendra Modi ji for Gujarat. He initiated a scientific and systematic approach to organize Industrial Summit in the name of ‘Vibrant Gujarat’. In this, large scale industrial summits were organized in the state capital and extensive investment came into the state. Dr. Yadav has laid a strong foundation for the all-round development of Madhya Pradesh through the Regional Investment Summit.

Former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late. In his address at ‘Abhuday: Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit’ in Gwalior on the 101st birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while expressing his views on cluster investment, said that I want to congratulate Dr. Mohan Yadav that he has started a new and visionary ‘regional investment conclave’ for the balanced development of the state. The process of organizing conclaves and investment bhoomi pujans in various areas of Madhya Pradesh that he has started will prove to be extremely beneficial for the balanced development of the state in the times to come.

The investment of Rs 2 lakh crore that is being made today may seem small, but it is a huge achievement for any one sector. This investment is very important for the people of any area. If there is no balanced development of the state, then the state cannot move forward, because there is immense potential hidden in every region. For example, in Malwa, Gwalior and Chambal regions, cotton has been the main crop of the farmers for a long time, but they were not able to get fair price for it. Now with the arrival of PM Mitra Park, investment in traditional sectors has increased and cotton has again become a profitable crop for farmers.

The biggest feature of Madhya Pradesh is its geographical location. From here it is possible to supply supplies to half of the entire country at very low transportation costs. But 100% utilization of this geographical advantage is possible only when symmetric industry is developed in the state. Industries should be established in the districts connected to the south, industries should be set up in the districts connected to Delhi like Gwalior and there should also be industrial development in the western areas like Dhar and Jhabua. Only then will Madhya Pradesh get the real benefit of its geographical advantage.

Union Home Minister Shah said that this event has been organized by Dr. Mohan Yadav with this thinking in mind. I heartily congratulate him that his Regional Investment Summit has laid a strong foundation for the all-round development of Madhya Pradesh.
