Nifty 50 top gainers today, December 24: Trent, Shriram Finance, Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Auto, UltraTech Cement, Maruti Suzuki and more
Indian equity benchmarks ended marginally lower in a volatile session on December 24. The Sensex slipped 116.14 points, or 0.14 percent, to settle at 85,408.70, while the Nifty 50 declined 35.05 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 26,142.10. Despite the weak close, a handful of Nifty 50 constituents posted gains by the end of the session. Here are the top gainers from the Nifty 50 index (as per Trendline).

Trent closed at ₹4,284, up 2.3%making it the top gainer on the Nifty 50.
Shriram Finance ended at ₹974, rising 1.7% in the session.
Apollo Hospitals settled at ₹7,177, higher by 1.5%.
Bajaj Auto closed at ₹9,174, gaining 0.8%.
UltraTech Cement finished at ₹11,770, up 0.8%.
Maruti Suzuki ended at ₹16,710, advancing 0.8%.
Coal India closed at ₹402.4, higher by 0.5%.
Power Grid Corporation settled at ₹268.3, up 0.5%.
Max Healthcare finished at ₹1,080.1, gaining 0.5%.
Mahindra & Mahindra closed at ₹3,636.1, up 0.3%
