According to Variety, the film grossed $450 million worldwide, which means the film grossed ₹4,042 crore. The film is also making steady progress in India and has crossed the ₹1 billion club. As Christmas and New Year celebrations fall on Thursday, December 25, the film is expected to cross the ₹5,000 crore mark by the end of the year.

The third film in the “Avatar” franchise has a budget of approximately ₹3,600 crore. But, it is far behind James Cameron’s 2022 release ‘Avatar 2’ which collected Rs 49.60 crore worldwide and is set to collect Rs 179.80 crore in 6 days in India.

The sci-fi film has grossed over $119 million (Rs 1,068 crore) at the domestic box office including the US. In India, it has collected Rs 95.80 crore in six days. On Wednesday, the Indian box office saw a huge jump, earning Rs 10.30 crore in all six languages ​​on its sixth day. On the previous day, the film has collected Rs 9.25 crore. On Thursday, he will be seen taking advantage of the Christmas break and looks set to cross the Rs 100 crore mark comfortably.

Estimated to earn Rs 900 crore from Christmas to January 1

“Avatar: Fire and Ashes” is aiming to earn more in the next five to six days. Christmas and New Year holidays are underway in Western countries. Hence, it is estimated to easily collect Rs 800-900 crore worldwide between December 25th and January 1st. But, in the meantime, the film will have to compete with three new films.
