In Gurugram, near Delhi, a 25-year-old female friend was shot at for refusing to marry her. This incident took place in Police Station DLF Sector-29 area. The woman was admitted to Max Hospital in critical condition. Taking immediate action, the police arrested both the accused from Baraut in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, on December 20, 2025, Chowki MG Road received information that a girl was admitted to Max Hospital, Gurugram with bullet injuries. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the hospital and obtained the Medical Legal Report (MLR) of the victim. Doctors said that the victim was unwell to give a statement. During this time, the victim’s husband, who was present in the hospital, submitted a written complaint to the police.
Kalpana (25), resident of Najafgarh, Delhi, was allegedly shot by a youth named Tushar. The victim works in a club in Gurugram and was on duty at the time of the incident. According to the information, at around 1 am in the night, Kalpana called one of her acquaintances and informed that Tushar had shot at her and she was being taken to the hospital. In the complaint given to the police, the victim said that Tushar had already come to her house and quarreled and due to the same old rivalry, this attack was carried out. Police have started investigating the case and the search for the accused is ongoing. The Health Department said that Kalpana has been admitted to the hospital for proper treatment after first aid.
It was told in the complaint that Tushar had earlier come to the victim’s house and had a fight and this old enmity led to the attack. Immediately after the incident, accused Tushar alias Jonty and his associate Shubham alias Johnny fled away. In the police investigation, a joint team of Sub-Inspector Lalit Kumar (Crime Branch Sector-40) and Sub-Inspector Mangal Singh (Police Post MG Road) arrested both the accused from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh on 25 December 2025. Officials said that the arrested accused are being fully investigated in the case and they will be produced in the Gurugram court. The victim has been kept safe in the hospital after first aid.
Police investigation revealed that accused Tushar alias Jonty and his associate Shubham alias Johnny were arrested on 25 December 2025 from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. The joint team of Sub-Inspector Lalit Kumar (Crime Branch Sector-40) and Sub-Inspector Mangal Singh (Police Post MG Road) took this action. During preliminary interrogation, the accused told that Tushar had befriended the victim about six months ago and he wanted to marry her. The accused was angry over the victim’s repeated refusal. According to the police, on the night of 19-20 December, Tushar reached the club with his partner Shubham and again pressurized him for marriage. On refusal, the accused opened fire with the intention of killing and both of them fled from there. The police have started the process of arresting the accused as per rules and presenting them in the court. Intensive investigation in the case is going on and the police are also investigating other aspects.
