Third T20 International match will be held in Thiruvananthapuram today

India Women vs Sri Lanka Women: Preparations for the third T20 match

New Delhi. The third match of the 5-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka is going to be played today at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Harmanpreet Kaur’s team is currently taking steps towards winning the series with a 2-0 lead. In the first two matches, the Indian team performed brilliantly against Sri Lanka, winning the first T20 by 8 wickets and the second by 7 wickets. However, the fitness of Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues has been a matter of concern for the team. Deepti Sharma could not participate in the last match due to illness, but now she is fit. Jemima, on the other hand, will have to prove her performance.

Pitch and weather conditions

The pitch of Greenfield International Stadium is considered favorable for bowlers. The batsmen played well in the earlier matches, but they may have to face a challenge in today’s match. The dew here can also affect the outcome of the match, due to which the team winning the toss will focus on bowling first. This will be the first match of women’s cricket on this ground, which makes it even more special.
