Kathmandu. Former Home Minister of Nepal Ramesh Lekhak has said that he is investigating the incidents related to Gen-Ji movement.

Kathmandu. Nepal’s former Home Minister Ramesh Lalkar has said that he will appear before the Judicial Inquiry Commission probing the incidents related to the Gen-Z movement on Monday and record his statement.

Talking to journalists at the Nepali Congress Party office on Friday, the author said that the Commission had formally called him to appear today itself, but he would reach the Commission’s office on Monday and give his statement.

The inquiry commission had sent a letter to the author to obtain his statement in matters related to alleged repression during the Gen-ji movement. The author said that after discussions in the party’s Central Committee meeting, he has decided to cooperate with the commission. Earlier it was said that like former Prime Minister KP Oli, the former Home Minister and writer will also not appear before the investigation commission.
