Varanasi. Bike-riding miscreants fired several rounds during a dispute near Dayalpur (Rasoolpur) village of Baragaon police station area of ​​Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday evening. In this incident, two people were seriously injured by bullets, in which a 14-year-old teenager died during treatment.

According to the information received, at around 6 pm on Thursday evening, four-five youths were talking among themselves on the roadside near a garden near Dayalpur village. Meanwhile, two unknown youths riding a motorcycle reached there and they had a dispute over some issue. As the dispute escalated, the youth riding the bike took out their pistol and fired three-four rounds. In the firing, Inderpur resident Ramu Yadav and Rasulpur resident Sameer Singh (14 years), son of Banarasi Singh, were injured by bullets. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people nearby reached the spot, but by then the accused had fled away waving their pistol. Upon receiving the information, police immediately took both the injured to a private hospital in Shivpur, where doctors declared Sameer Singh dead. He was shot in the chest. Ramu Yadav was shot in the waist and considering his critical condition, he was referred to BHU Trauma Centre.

According to DCP Gomti Zone office, the incident took place during a dispute between two parties, in which one party opened fire. The matter is being thoroughly investigated and the incident will be revealed soon. Baragaon police station in-charge Amit Mishra said that the footage of CCTV cameras installed in and around the incident site is being scrutinized so that the accused can be identified. Meanwhile, ACP Pindra Prateek Kumar also reached the spot and interrogated the local people and gave instructions for the immediate arrest of the accused. Police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
