Dr. Manmohan Singh’s Death Anniversary: Today (26 December) is the first death anniversary of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the architect of the country’s economic reforms and two-time Prime Minister. On this occasion, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi paid floral tributes to the photograph of Dr. Manmohan Singh at 24, Akbar Road, Delhi. Earlier, he wrote on social media that Dr. Manmohan Singh’s humility, hard work and honesty will always be an inspiration for all of us.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote in X Post on Friday, “Humble tribute to former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh on his death anniversary. With his visionary leadership, he empowered India economically. His historic efforts and bold decisions for the deprived and poor of the country gave India a new identity on the world stage. His humility, hard work and honesty will always be an inspiration for all of us.”

Congress National President Mallikarjun also paid tribute to former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh. He wrote, “On his first death anniversary, we remember with deep respect the immense contribution of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to India’s nation-building. As a transformational leader, he reshaped the country’s economic trajectory and expanded opportunities for millions through economic reforms and lifted millions out of poverty.”
