The deceased have been identified as Pradeep Yadav, 55, and his wife Keshari Devi, 50, who were also ward members of the village. It is being told that both the husband and wife had gone to sleep in the barn to protect the crops. Meanwhile, the criminals attacked them with sharp weapons and killed both of them on the spot.

Dead body found soaked in blood, created panic
When the villagers reached the barn on Friday morning, they were shocked to see both the blood-soaked bodies. As soon as the information was received, Sherghati police station reached the spot and inspected the spot. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem.
