Even after the death of AMU teacher, attackers kept firing bullets on his head… CCTV footage of Danish murder surfaced

The case of murder of a teacher in broad daylight in the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) campus has shocked the entire country. The CCTV footage that surfaced two days after the incident has made the cruelty of this incident even more horrifying. It is clearly visible in the video that even after the death of the teacher, the attackers fired bullets into his head, as if humanity had completely died.

The deceased has been identified as Danish Rao, who was a computer science teacher at ABK High School on the AMU campus for the last 11 years. On Wednesday night, he had gone out for a walk with two of his colleague teachers when this horrific attack took place.

There was a commotion due to gunshots in AMU campus

The incident happened on Wednesday night. Danish Rao was strolling in the campus with two of his colleagues, when a scooter came and stopped near them. Two youths riding a scooter suddenly took out pistols and threatened all three. Within seconds, bullets started firing and Danish Rao fell on the ground.

The brutality captured in CCTV footage

This entire incident was recorded in the CCTV cameras installed in the campus. It can be seen in the footage that suddenly there is chaos in front of Kennedy Hall and people start running here and there. An attacker leans near Danish Rao lying unconscious on the road, points a pistol at his temple and fires continuously. The sound of at least six bullets is clearly heard in the video.

“Now you will know…” Threatened before firing the bullet

According to the police, one of the attackers had told Danish Rao just before the attack. ‘You don’t know me yet, you will know now. After this both the attackers opened fire together. Senior Superintendent of Police Neeraj Jadaun has confirmed that there were only two attackers and both of them opened fire on Rao.

Bullets shook the campus, people ran to save their lives

After the firing, panic spread in the entire AMU campus. Before people could understand anything, there was a stampede all around. Such an incident within the prestigious educational institution of the country has left the students and teachers in deep shock. Danish Rao was taken to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead. The post mortem report has confirmed multiple bullet injuries in the head.

Six teams formed, accused still absconding

Police have formed six special teams to arrest the accused. All the surrounding CCTV footage is being scrutinized so that the attackers can be identified and caught as soon as possible. At present the accused are absconding.

AMU administration said – Information received at 9 pm

AMU Proctor Mohammad Wasim Ali said that we received information at around 9 pm that there was firing near the library and one person was injured. Later it was revealed that the victim was Danish Rao, who was a teacher at ABK School. After this sensational murder, questions are also being raised on the security arrangements of the AMU campus. There is anger among the students and teachers and they are demanding the arrest of the accused as soon as possible.
