Kylian Mbappé set to attend AFCON clash after personal invitation from friend Achraf Hakimi

French superstar Kylian Mbappé is set to be present in Morocco as he prepares to attend the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match between Morocco and Mali, according to the latest reports. The Paris Saint-Germain forward has travelled to the North African nation following a personal invitation from close friend and teammate Achraf Hakimi.

As reported by L’Équipe, Mbappé will not be alone during his visit, with his entire family also expected to accompany him for the high-profile AFCON encounter. The match, scheduled for tomorrow, is expected to draw major attention as Morocco continue their quest for continental glory on home soil.

Mbappé and Hakimi share a strong bond both on and off the pitch, having spent several seasons together at PSG. Their friendship has often been visible during club duties, and Mbappé’s decision to support Hakimi during AFCON underlines the close relationship between the two players. The French captain has previously spoken highly of Hakimi’s importance to both club and country.

PSG’s starman Ousmane Dembele also expected to attend the event and both the players will be in attendance, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
