Video went viral on social media

Karima says that when she came to Mumbai, she had the same fears that every new tenant has – questions like eating habits, being married, the nature of work and returning home late at night. But Deepak uncle never asked him any questions about his identity, religion or lifestyle.

He accepted them without any conditions. According to Karima, Deepak uncle did not like being called “landlord”, he considered relationships above money. With time her family also became a part of Karima’s life. His daughter became a friend and the smell of Sindhi curry became common in the house.
