Veer Bal Diwas: CM Yogi said – History is made only by those who have the spirit of sacrifice and renunciation.

Lucknow: Veer Bal Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 December to honor the sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, who attained martyrdom at a young age. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Today, in the program organized at his official residence, he paid obeisance with full devotion by carrying the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on his head and bringing it to the venue of the program. On this occasion, he said that history is made only by those who have the spirit of sacrifice and renunciation.

CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji listened to the voice of Sikhs across the country and to express gratitude for their contribution to the country and their religion, a national celebration was organized across the country as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ on 26 December, which is the sacrifice day of Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji. He said, “Which city in India does not have a Gurudwara? Which place in India does not have this program of today? The programs of December 26 are being organized in every school, every college, every office and every place. Uttar Pradesh has also organized competitions in schools, colleges and universities.”

CM Yogi also said, “History is made only by those who have the feeling of renunciation and sacrifice. History is not made by those who surrender for immediate selfishness.” On this occasion, the CM visited the painting exhibition dedicated to the 350th martyrdom memory of Guru Shri Teg Bahadur Ji Maharaj and took prasad in the langar.
