Security agency cheated 51 guards, did not give refund and salary even after taking 10 thousand rupees each

Prayagraj – A security company, which was opened a few months ago in Azad Nagar area of New Jhansi, duped 51 security guards. The company operator recruited each guard by taking Rs 10,000 from each guard and promised that he would get a salary of Rs 16,000 every month and the deposit amount would be returned after 90 days, but even after two months neither salary nor refund was received. Suspecting the behavior of the operator, the guards reached Jhunsi police station and filed a complaint. All 51 guards recruited in the company were deployed at the nearby bank branches and ATM machines including Jhunsi.

The guards say that the operator lured them with false promises. At the time of recruitment, they said that they would get a permanent job along with good salary and refund, but when they did not receive the salary, they investigated and found the operator’s behavior suspicious. The angry guards created a ruckus in the police station, and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused. On the complaint, the police took the operator into custody. In a long conversation, the accused apologized to all the guards, and deposited Promised to return Rs 10,000 and pay the outstanding salary. After this an agreement was reached between both the parties. The police released the accused conditionally. The guards told that he will now be alert and will avoid such fake companies.

This incident is increasing distrust towards security companies in the area. The police have advised people to be cautious of companies demanding money in the name of jobs, and to complain to the police station. Local people allege that such fake recruitments have become common in areas like Azad Nagar. The administration needs to take strict action.
