Randhir Jaiswal Press Conference: On the minorities in Bangladesh of violence (Bangladesh Violence) India has strongly protested. Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal (Randhir Jaiswal) said that there have been 2,900 incidents of violence against minorities during the interim government in Bangladesh. These attacks cannot be dismissed as political violence or media reports.
Increasing violence against minorities is a matter of grave concern
Increasing violence against minorities, including Hindus, Christians and Buddhists, is a matter of grave concern in Bangladesh. We strongly condemn the recent brutal killing of a Hindu youth in Mymensingh and hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice. We hope that due attention will be given to the security of minorities in Bangladesh.

Regarding the upcoming elections in Bangladesh, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India is committed to strengthening its ties with the people of Bangladesh. We support peace and stability in Bangladesh. On the exclusion of Awami League from elections in Bangladesh, Randhir Jaiswal said that he supports fair, free, inclusive and participatory elections in Bangladesh, which should be held in a peaceful environment.
Condolences on death of Indian student in Canada
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal condoled the death of the Indian student in Canada and said, “We are in touch with his family. It is very unfortunate. We express our deepest condolences. We are also in touch with the local authorities to find out the cause of the student’s death. The Indian Embassy is extending full assistance to the student’s family.”
Hindu youth killed by mob again in Bangladesh
After the killing of Deepu Chandra Das, another gruesome incident has come to light in Rajbari district, where 29-year-old Amrit Mandal alias Samrat was beaten to death by a mob. As confirmed by the local police, the incident took place in Pangsha Model Police Station area on Wednesday night. According to the police, local residents accused Amrit Mandal of extortion. The dispute escalated and turned into mob violence. An angry mob allegedly attacked Amrit, killing him on the spot.
Associate Mohammad Salim detained
Police have detained Amrit’s colleague Mohammad Salim. Two weapons have been seized in his search. According to the SSP, Samrat’s body has been sent to Rajbari Sadar Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. Police officials also said that Samrat has at least two criminal cases filed against him at the Pangsha police station, including one of murder.
