Sankh Airlines Owner Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma: This story of coming out of the streets of Kanpur and reaching the skies of the country seems like a film script, but it is the reality. The person who once drove a tempo in Kanpur, took a dip in Gangaji and lived a normal life, is going to start his own airline today. Name is Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma. He had a dream that someday he would make slippers wearers travel by air and 26 months ago, he introduced the first airline of UP and named it Shankh Airlines. Which got the nod for approval on Thursday, 24th December.
The Civil Aviation Ministry has issued No Objection Certificate (Shankh Air NOC) to three airlines including Shankh Airlines. These include Al Hind Air and FlyExpress airlines. Now the question is, who is Shravan Kumar and what is his complete plan?
Who is Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma?
Shravan Kumar is the founder and chairman of Shankh Air (shankh airlines owner). Belongs to Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Born in a middle class family, Shravan was not much interested in studies. Friendship and circumstances were such that soon his relationship with studies was broken. After this he entered the world of business and gradually established himself. His first big work was the bar (TMT) business. After this he tried his hand in cement, mining and transport sectors. He built a large fleet of trucks and it was from here that his business identity was established.

Shravan Kumar himself has told that he not only traveled in tempo, but also drove the tempos of his friends. Shravan Kumar says that a man rising from the bottom sees everything – bicycle, bus, train, tempo. This experience became the biggest strength of his thinking today. About 3-4 years ago, Shravan Kumar had a passion to do something different. He believed that aviation was the growth industry of the future.
He believes that people want to save time and air travel has now become a necessity. During a trip he realized that there was a severe lack of affordable and reliable airlines for the middle class. It was from here that the idea of Shankha Airlines came to his mind.
The story behind the name Shankha Airlines
Shravan Kumar explains that ‘conch&8217; The name was not new to him. The same name was also attached to his already existing company. This name with its religious and cultural identity appeals to them. There is a conch in every house, but not everyone is able to blow it. Shravan says that we also want to do something similar, which everyone has, but create a different identity.

Shravan Kumar’s biggest claim is that no dynamic pricing. He clearly says that a ticket of Rs 5,000 in the morning will not be Rs 25,000 in the evening. Be it Holi-Diwali, Chhath festival, Kumbh or if the demand just increases, their airline fares The sky will not touch. His focus is on the middle class. Fixed rates, limited profits and reliable service, this will be the model of Shankha Airline.
