Yami Gautam calls Aditya Dhar her “lush green forest”; heaps praise on husband amid Dhurandhar success

Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam got married in a traditional and intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh in 2021. Their wedding came as a sudden but pleasant surprise to their fans and industry people. More so because the two had kept their relationship under wraps for almost two years. Even now, when Dhurandhar has been such a hit, the two are busy in their personal lives, soaking in family moments.

Yami Gautam, in a recent interview, revealed what bonded the two. “Our love represents a union of families. My parents felt secure with him, and his family felt comfortable with me. Even in our professional lives, we uphold boundaries, trusting and respecting each other’s space. Motherhood transformed me in ways I never anticipated. It’s empowering, humbling, and filled with joy,” Yami said.

The two met on the sets of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ in 2019, and love blossomed soon.

“During promotions is when we started talking, we became friends and there was ‘oh, I’m going to propose to you’ kind of moment or anything filmy or all those things for me or him. All those things that we probably think of… Which was the best thing because even I’m not that kind of person. We just knew that we really want to get married. Our families were extremely aligned, and they were really happy for us,” she told Humans of Bombay.

“With Aditya by my side, our love feels steady, calm, and genuine. There’s no need for noise or showiness. Just tranquility, growth, and the quiet assurance that this is precisely where we’re meant to be,” she stated.

The ‘Vicky Donor’ actress added, “Aditya is like a lush green forest!”

Yami went on to say that there is no one in the industry that doesn’t respect him. She added that Dhar has never lost his composure and is known for being polite and humble. Yami’s interview comes a few days after Rakesh Bedi had praised Aditya Dhar. Bedi had said how, despite the bumper success of ‘Dhurandhar,’ Dhar had stepped away from the limelight and was busy spending quality time with his family.
