That wall of history and that unbreakable courage. Salute with moist eyes to the Sahibzadas on Brave Children’s Day.

News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is 26th December, i.e. ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. This day of the year may seem like a normal date in the calendar, but the history hidden behind this date is hair-raising. Today is a day that reminds us of those little heroes who have done things at such a young age, which is difficult to even imagine. We are talking about Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the beloved Sahibzadas of Dashmesh Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also remembered him on this occasion and reminded the country of his courage. But, this is not just a tribute, rather it is a glimpse of our glorious history which shows that age does not matter to fight against injustice. A wall and unwavering courage. Imagine those small children, in front of whom the most powerful and cruel power in the world was standing. They were lured, intimidated and then given cruel orders to be crucified alive in the wall. The feet of any ordinary child would have wobbled, but the intentions of these Guru’s sons were tougher than steel. He accepted beheading, but did not commit the foolish thing of giving up his identity and religion. Why do we celebrate Veer Bal Diwas? It is very important for today’s young generation to understand what is the price of freedom and respect. PM Modi has given the message through ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ that the sacrifice of Sahibzadas is not limited only to Sikhs, but it is a source of inspiration for every Indian. His martyrdom teaches us that when it comes to the country and culture, one should not step back. Today this day is being celebrated in schools and institutions across the country, so that the coming generations can know how much bravery is embedded in the soil of India. This story of Sahibzadas connects us to our roots. What is our duty? Just lighting candles or posting photos on social media is not enough. The true tribute will be when we follow the path of courage shown by him. Sahibzadas sacrificed themselves to protect religion and humanity. Today, when we talk about a self-reliant and developed India, their selfless bravery should be the foundation of our character. Heartfelt salute to those brave sons on Brave Children’s Day. His memories will always encourage us to stand strong.
