The generosity of GV Prakash, who usually comes forward to help the needy, was taken wrong advantage of this time. A fake account extorted Rs 20,000 from him with the help of an emotional story and a fake picture.

A user on social media platform GV Prakash Kumar was tagged in this post, so that his attention could be drawn to this appeal. Inspired by his sensitive nature and feeling of helping, GV Prakash transferred Rs 20 thousand to that account without doing much investigation.

After some time, social media users started raising questions on this claim. Many people investigated and found that the photo which was said to be of the dead woman was actually an old photo taken from the internet. By the time this news reached GV Prakash, it was too late. It was told that after receiving the money, the concerned account also stopped responding to calls and messages.
