Danone Vietnam donates 90,000 boxes of Aptamil Kid UHT to children in flood-affected regions
The donation follows the company’s “One Aptamil Nutrition Universe” event, where Danone highlighted its commitment to providing science-based nutritional solutions for Vietnamese children.
After concluding the multi-sensory “One Aptamil Nutrition Universe” experience, Danone Vietnam, a member of the Danone Group, shifted its focus toward community support. The company coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to deliver the nutritional aid.

Aptamil Kid UHT was selected due to its suitability for emergency conditions. As a ready-to-drink product, it meets food safety requirements for rapid transportation and immediate consumption, while supplying essential energy and micronutrients to help strengthen immunity during recovery.
Tran Thi Hoang Thu, Country Manager of Danone Vietnam Co., Ltd., said the company adheres to the principle that economic growth should go hand in hand with social progress. She noted that witnessing the difficulties faced by communities in flood-hit areas prompted Danone to take immediate action.
Thu added that Aptamil Kid UHT was chosen because access to clean, hot, and safe water may be limited when homes and infrastructure are damaged.
“This contribution cannot compare to the suffering that flood victims are enduring, but we hope it helps provide children with essential nutrition as they rebuild their lives,” Thu said. “We are also deeply grateful to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for its strong support in mobilizing this aid to those in need.”

The commitment to support vulnerable families was announced during the “One Aptamil Nutrition Universe” event, held from Dec. 5-7, 2025, at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in Ho Chi Minh City.
Under the theme “Companion Nutrition, Extraordinary Takeoff,” the event showcased Aptamil’s science-based nutrition ecosystem and reaffirmed the brand’s focus on supporting the healthy development of Vietnamese children.
With a global heritage of more than 100 years and guided by the vision of “One Planet. One Health,” Danone Vietnam said it will continue to expand its sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. Alongside supplying premium nutritional products such as Aptamil, the company aims to remain a long-term partner in fostering the healthy and resilient growth of Vietnamese children, particularly during times of crisis.
