Filmmaker TJ Gnanavel is the latest to join the list of celebrities from K-town who are showering praises on Vikram Prabhu starrer Siraidirected by debutant Suresh Rajakumari.
In his video address after watching SiraiGnanavel said that the film gave a proper completion to 2025. “I can go on and on about the performances of Vikram Prabhu and Akshay Kumar. Likewise, the technicians have done a great job with writer Tamizh and director Suresh laying the foundation with a relevant story.” Gnanavel, who also makes films with social commentary, previously made Vettaiyanstarring Rajinikanth.
Calling it an “arresting drama” about the justice system, an excerpt from the CE review reads, “Points to the makers for also writing in just enough subversions to make Sirai a compelling watch. Just when you think that an undertrial with freedom at his doorstep would do ‘A’, he goes on to do ‘Z’, and when you think a cop is making the same mistakes that almost cost him his job once, his response makes you smile because the world doesn’t exist in binaries.”
