The police have also recovered a machine which changes the wrapper and puts a new expiry date etc. Apart from the expiry date, these people used to change the barcode, rate details etc. using these machines. This Gorakh business was running till Delhi through agents of Mumbai.

These people used to put people’s lives at risk by illegally importing expired food products and supplying them across the country after repackaging. These products were also being sold through big retail chains, shopping malls and e-commerce platforms. When the warehouse of Pahadi Dheeraj and Faiz Ganj of Sadar Bazaar was raided, a large quantity of this product was recovered from there.
