Who is Vishal Jaiswal of Gujarat, who stopped Virat Kohli from scoring a century?

The second round matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26 season were played on 26 December. The clash between Delhi and Gujarat in the Elite Group-D took place at BCCI’s Center of Excellence (CoE) Ground 1 in Bengaluru. In this match, all eyes were on Virat Kohli, who had played a brilliant inning of 131 runs in the last match. Veteran batsman Kohli made a stellar start this time too but he missed a century.

After the dismissal of Priyansh Arya, Kohli had to come to the crease in the second over itself. The bowlers were getting a lot of help from the pitch. However, despite this, Kohli batted freely and scored fifty in just 29 balls. Arpit Rana was not able to do anything special from the other end. He scored only 10 runs in 31 balls. Kohli hit continuous boundaries from one side and took Delhi beyond 100.
