India defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets, Shefali Verma played a brilliant inning of 79 runs, Renuka Singh took 4 wickets.
Currently, a five-match T20 series is being played between India and Sri Lanka women’s cricket team, the third match of which was played in Thiruvananthapuram. In this match, India has defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets. However, the strongest aspect for India in this match has been bowling. The Indian bowlers did not allow the Sri Lankan batsmen to stay on the crease, due to which the team could not score big and India easily won the match.
In the match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored only 112 runs, which the Indian team chased in just 13.2 overs. Apart from Shefali Verma, Harmanpreet Kaur also batted carefully.
Sri Lanka’s batting was weak

Renuka Singh took 4 wickets
Excellent bowling was seen from India. Renuka Singh bowled one maiden over and took four wickets for 21 runs in four overs, while Deepti Sharma took three wickets for 18 runs in four overs. Apart from these, no bowler achieved success. However, today again Vaishnavi Sharma and Sricharani were given a chance. Vaishnavi Sharma bowled three overs and gave away 14 runs, but did not achieve any success, while Sricharani gave away 11 runs in one over.
Shefali Verma scored 79 runs
The Indian team, which came to chase the target of 113 runs, also had a very bad start. In fact, India also lost its first wicket on the score of just 27 runs.
