Eligible people should get the benefits of every scheme – District Magistrate
Siddharthnagar l Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Shivsharanappa GN and in the presence of Chief Development Officer Balram Singh, the program of Good Governance Week – Village Chaupal under the administration village side was completed in Gram Panchayat Khakhara under development block Lotan. In the Chaupal program, information about various schemes was obtained and reviewed from the villagers under the Village Chaupal-Good Governance Week-Administration Towards Village Solutions program by District Magistrate Shivsharanappa GN. The District Magistrate said that the MNREGA (NREGA) scheme has not been stopped, but it is being implemented in a better way.
He clarified that the administrative cost has increased to 9 percent, due to which the honorarium of Technical Assistant (TA) and Employment Sevak will also increase. The District Magistrate said that as per the guidelines of the Government of India, information about the schemes will be made available to the people through posters and other means. In this sequence, villagers are being connected to the schemes through Chaupals in the entire district.
Appealing to join self-help groups, the District Magistrate said that women will be given financial assistance and training from the government, so that they can become self-reliant. The District Magistrate said that the benefits of all the schemes should reach the eligible beneficiaries. In case of any kind of mischief in this, strict action will be taken against the concerned. People were given information about the schemes by setting up a stall in the village Chaupal by the concerned department. During the village Chaupal, the baby shower program of pregnant women and feeding of newborn babies was duly completed by District Magistrate Shivsharanappa GN.
On this occasion, instructions were given to get clarification from the absent Sub-Collector Naugarh, District Basic Education Officer, AR Cooperative, District Probation Officer, District Program Officer, Executive Engineer Electrical, District Social Welfare Officer, District Minority Welfare Officer, District Disabled Empowerment Officer and to withhold one day’s salary. On this occasion, PD Nagend Mohan Ram Tripathi, DDO Satish Singh, DCMNREGA Sandeep Singh, DCNRLM Devnandan Dubey, District Panchayat Raj Officer Vachaspati Jha, Block Development Officer Lotan Sarvesh Mohan and other block level officers and villagers etc. were present.
