Encounter of the accused of theft in Thawe temple, thieves had taken jewelery including mother’s crown

Desk: The police is continuously raiding the famous Thawe temple of Gopalganj regarding the theft case. Police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused. The police have shot an accused in this incident. The arrested accused has been identified as Izmamul Alam, resident of Govindganj ward number 12 of Rajepur police station area of East Champaran district. It is being told that in recent times he was living in Ranisagar village of Shahpur police station area of Bhojpur district. According to the police, the accused was shot in the leg during the encounter, after which he was controlled.

In the case of theft of jewelery worth more than Rs 1 crore including a crown worth Rs 51 lakh in Thawe temple, the police has shot a criminal named Inzamamul. Inzamamul has been admitted to Sadar Hospital after being shot in a half encounter. Inzamamul is a resident of Motihari district of Bihar. Police have so far arrested three accused in this case.

Remains of stolen jewelery have also been recovered from him, which are considered important evidence related to the temple theft case. The injured accused was admitted to the emergency ward of Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment. After first aid, considering his condition, the doctors referred him to Patna for better treatment. His treatment is continuing under police surveillance. Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit himself reached Sadar Hospital and interrogated the injured accused. During interrogation, it was confirmed that the remains of the stolen jewelery had been recovered. According to the police, Izmamul Alam is said to be a resident of Ghazipur district of UP and a disciple of already arrested accused Deepak Rai. SP said that further investigation is going on in this case and the entire chain of theft is being investigated. Police say that any kind of negligence in the security of centers of faith like Thawe Temple will not be tolerated.
