Mumbai overcomes Uttarakhand by 51 Runs – Tezzbuzz
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Mumbai posted a strong 331 for 7 in their allotted 50 overs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The innings was anchored by a fluent 93 not out off 82 balls by keeper-batter Hardik Tamore, supported by valuable contributions from Sarfaraz Khan (55 off 49 balls) and Musheer Khan (55 off 56 balls), helping Mumbai build a commanding total.
However, the day began on a disappointing note for Mumbai fans as Rohit — playing in the domestic tournament — was dismissed off the very first delivery he faced, failing to score.
In response, Uttarakhand battled but could only manage 280 all out as Mumbai’s bowling attack did enough to contain the chase. Shardul Thakur, Onkar Tarmale and Musheer Khan were among the wicket-takers who helped restrict the opposition and clinch the win.
