Lucknow. There was chaos in Sangam Vihar Colony of Krishnanagar police station area on Friday evening when a person suddenly fell unconscious in the street. People nearby immediately informed about this by dialing 112. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and with the help of an ambulance the person was sent to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as Karan Gupta (49 years), son of Jeevanlal Gupta, resident of Devpur Nai Basti, Police Station Para, Lucknow. At the time of the incident, the deceased’s son Ayush Gupta and nephew Vishal Gupta were also present at the spot. According to family members, Karan Gupta suddenly fell unconscious on the ground while walking in Street No. 8, Sangam Vihar Colony. The police immediately called an ambulance and sent Karan Gupta to Lokbandhu Hospital for treatment, but as soon as he reached the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. There was chaos among the family members after receiving the information.
The police have filled the Panchayatnama of the dead body and kept it safe in the mortuary of Lokbandhu Hospital for post-mortem. Prima facie it appears to be a case of death due to sudden deterioration in health, however, the actual cause of death can be confirmed only after the post mortem report comes. Krishnanagar police station says that all necessary legal action is being taken in the matter and along with interrogating the family members, information is also being collected from the people nearby.
