Second anniversary of Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha in Ayodhya on 31st December, grand rituals will start from today.

Uttar Pradesh: The holy city of Ayodhya is once again going to witness a historical and spiritual festival. The second anniversary of the consecration of Lord Ramlala will be celebrated grandly on 31st December in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. On this special occasion, the arrival of devotees from India and abroad has started in Ayodhya and a festive atmosphere has been created in the entire city.

From the Ram temple complex to the streets of Ayodhya, a glimpse of religious joy and faith is visible. Preparations for the programs are in the final stages by the temple administration and local administration. Extensive arrangements have been made for the convenience of the devotees, security and grandeur of the event.

Religious rituals started from today

According to Gopal ji associated with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, religious rituals related to the second anniversary of Pran Pratishtha have started from today. The main event will conclude on December 31 on the occasion of ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’, while puja, havan and other religious programs will continue till January 2, 2026.

According to the Hindu calendar, this year Pratistha Dwadashi is being celebrated on 31 December. On this day, special worship and Vedic rituals will be organized in the Ram temple. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the program as the chief guest, while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present. All the religious rituals taking place in the Ram temple will be performed as per the rules and regulations under the supervision of Jagadguru Madhvacharya. The temple administration says that every ritual will be performed in traditional manner, so that the devotees can have a divine and spiritual experience.

Cultural events will be held on 29 December

Along with religious programs, special cultural programs will also be organized on 29th December. These will include presentations based on Ramkatha, bhajan-kirtan and other cultural events. To facilitate the movement of devotees, special route arrangements have been made from Sugriv Path to Angad Tila. The administration is completely alert regarding crowd control, security and traffic arrangements.

Flag hoisting will take place at Annapurna temple

On December 31, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hoist the flag at the Annapurna Temple located in the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex and will participate as the chief guest in the Pratistha Dwadashi ceremony. According to reports, all preparations for the event are almost complete. Extensive arrangements are being made by the temple trust and administration to welcome and facilitate the devotees coming from India and abroad.
