National Tribal Trade Fair-2025 in Gujarat, CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurated

Gujarat Govt: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday inaugurated the three-day National Tribal Trade Fair-2025. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra of Vocal for Local, Local for Global will be effectively realized with the help of this fair. It is being organized in Vasarai of Ambika taluka of Surat district. The fair will run from 26 to 29 December. Apart from this, the Chief Minister e-laid the foundation stone and e-inaugurated various development works worth Rs 858 crore of the Roads and Buildings Department in Surat district.

Know what CM Patel said

Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that this fair will give a new direction to the contribution of tribal industries, artisans, handicrafts and MSMEs in building a developed India and self-reliant India. The fair has been organized with the collective efforts of the tribal community and supporting organizations. The objective of this fair is to provide a common platform to expand trade and industrial activities.

More than 370 stalls in the fair

The fair has over 370 stalls, including over 80 tribal cuisine stalls, participation of over 700 delegates from across the country and MSME-focused business workshops. This event will strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Finance and Urban Development Minister Kanubhai Desai, Tribal Development Minister Naresh Patel and Minister of State Jairam Gambit were also present in the program.

Made youth self-reliant – Gujarat CM

CM said that with the help of self-help groups, startups and skill development centers of Gujarat, the youth were made self-reliant. CM Patel also told about the Rs 2 lakh crore tribal welfare scheme launched by Prime Minister Modi. CM Patel described this scheme of PM as a guide for the development of the tribal community.
