Haryana Weather: Cold will increase in Haryana from New Year, chances of rain on this day

Haryana Weather: These days people are facing dry cold in Haryana, but the weather pattern is going to change soon. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance becoming active on December 30, the new year may start with drizzle. Due to this the cold is likely to become more severe. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert regarding cold wave and fog in Haryana.

According to meteorologist Dr. Chandramohan, the weather remains unstable in Haryana, NCR and Delhi due to weak western disturbances becoming active one after the other. Due to increase in humidity in the atmosphere, fog is being seen in the morning. During this period, a slight increase in night temperature and a slight decline in day temperature is being recorded.

He said that when dry north-westerly winds blow at high speed, the fog clears up, but this causes the night temperature to drop again. Due to the short interval between western disturbances, the cold weather seems to be a little loose at the moment, but the situation may change in the coming days.

At present, a weak western disturbance is active, due to which there was light cloud cover and light fog in the lowland areas on Friday. During this period, Narnaul was the coldest area of the state, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 18.0 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 5.5 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be in the future?

According to the Meteorological Department, the current western disturbance will move ahead on Saturday. However, due to high humidity in the atmosphere, fog may persist in the morning. After this, another weak western disturbance will become active from December 27, due to which the temperature will again change.

There is a possibility of a moderate western disturbance on December 30, due to which there may be light drizzle in many parts of the state. Due to this, the cold is likely to increase further in the new year.
