Family crisis in Siddharthnagar: Husband kept working abroad, here wife absconded with her lover along with two children.
A case that shakes the family and social fabric has come to light from Siddharthnagar district. The wife of a man who had gone to Saudi Arabia for employment has allegedly eloped with her lover. The woman also took two small children with her, while the 14-year-old elder son was left at home.
This case pertains to village Khalwa, gram panchayat Patni Jungle of Sadar police station area. Amresh Pal, a resident here, was married to Jaya in 2011 according to Hindu customs. The couple has three children—a daughter and two sons. With the aim of improving the financial condition of the family, Amresh Pal had gone to Saudi Arabia for employment, where he was working hard day and night to support the family.
According to family members, meanwhile, Amresh Pal got a call from his elder son, in which he told that mother Jaya had left the house with her younger brother and sister without informing anyone. On hearing this, Amresh Pal immediately returned to India from abroad. He searched for his wife and children in the village and surrounding areas, but could not find any clue.
Victim Amresh Pal has lodged a written complaint in this matter at Sadar police station. He alleges that later he came to know that his wife had eloped with another young man. Amresh Pal and his family have demanded the police to ensure the safety of the small children and get them back safely. However, the victim says that till now no concrete action has been taken on his complaint in the police station.
