CEO of Arista Networks since 2008
Jayshree Ullal has led Arista Networks since 2008. This company is considered a global leader in the field of cloud networking and high-performance data centers. According to Forbes, Arista Networks is projected to have annual revenues of approximately $7 billion in 2024, an increase of approximately 20% from last year. Ullal’s strategic thinking and technical understanding were important in the success of the company. Ullal owns about 3% of Arista Networks shares, some of which he has reserved for his family’s future. The rise in the company’s shares has taken his wealth to new heights.
Jayshree Ullal was born on 27 March 1961 in London. She came to India in her childhood and studied in New Delhi. His father was a distinguished physicist and was associated with the Ministry of Education. She studied at Jesus and Mary Convent School, Delhi, after which the family moved to America.
Started career with AMD
In the US, he did his graduation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and his Masters in Engineering Management. After completing his studies, he started working in semiconductor and networking sector. He quickly gained recognition due to his sharp decision making and visionary leadership.

In his early career he worked in companies like AMD and Fairchild Semiconductor. His later contributions to Cisco proved to be major, where he transformed the switching division into one of the company’s strongest business segments. At that time the company was small and resources were limited, but under his leadership Arista Networks created its own identity in the global tech market.
