Tej Pratap Yadav receives death threats, files police complaint, seeks government protection

New Delhi. Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and Janashakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav has claimed that he has been threatened with death. Tej Pratap has also lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. Tej Pratap has said in the complaint letter given to the police that a person named Santosh Renu Yadav has threatened to kill him. Santosh Renu Yadav was earlier the national spokesperson of Tej Pratap’s party Janashakti Janata Dal, later he was fired for working against the ideology of the party.

Tej Pratap Yadav has sought protection from Bihar government in this regard. Tej has written a letter to Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary. On this entire matter, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary said that he has received Tej Pratap’s letter and the matter is being investigated. Meanwhile, Tej Pratap alleged that Santosh Renu Yadav extorted money from party workers and other people by promising them job and other benefits. For this reason he was expelled from the party on 14 December. Tej Pratap said that after being expelled from the party, Santosh has been making objectionable statements against him through social media and now even death threats have been made.

Let us tell you that Tej Pratap Yadav was ousted from his family and his party RJD by his father. After this Tej Pratap formed his own party Janashakti Janata Dal. In the recently held Bihar Assembly elections, Tej Pratap fielded his party’s candidates on many seats, although JJD could not win even a single seat. Even Tej Pratap Yadav himself lost the election from Mahua.
