EV Future City Indore: Now electric cars will charge faster and smarter

Indore | Indore has once again shown the country how to prepare for the future. After being number one in cleanliness for eight consecutive times, the city is now setting a new example in green energy and electric mobility. Indore has taken a big step in the world of electric vehicles with the launch of 200 KVA public fast EV charging station in Vijay Nagar area.

This station is not just a charging point, but a sign of the changing transport system of the city. With the super charger installed here, electric cars will be charged in 45 minutes to 1 hour. This will not only save time, but will also make long distance travel easier and more reliable than ever before.

Indore’s first super EV charging station

This super EV charging station started in Indore has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the city. Amid rising pollution and rising fuel prices, electric vehicles are the future. The opening of this station will provide relief to those people who were hesitant in buying EV due to lack of charging. This station has been started in partnership with Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) and RoadGrid-Winfast India. DC fast charging system has been installed here, which is considered to be the fastest way to charge electric vehicles today.

Public charging stations are being developed on the lines of petrol pumps

According to AICTSL CEO Arth Jain, now public charging stations like petrol pumps are being developed in Indore. Two-wheeler electric vehicles, electric cars, e-rickshaws, three wheelers, electric buses at these stations. Charging facility is available to all. Battery swapping facility is also being provided at some selected stations, so that drivers will not have to wait long for charging.

The DC fast charger installed on this super EV charging station supplies direct current (DC) to the battery. In this, the AC-to-DC converter installed inside the vehicle is bypassed, due to which the charging speed increases manifold.
