New system for family division implemented in Bihar
Patna. A big good news has emerged for the ryots and land owners of Bihar. The state government has implemented a new digital system to make the process of family land distribution and filing-rejecting process simple and transparent. From Saturday, this system has become effective on Bihar Land Portal, under which now it will be possible to register and cancel the land of the entire family with a single application.
Now separate applications will not have to be made
Giving information about the new system, Deputy Chief Minister cum Land Reforms and Revenue Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that till now after family division, each shareholder had to file separate filings for his share of land. Due to this, people had to spend time, money and visit offices. The new system will eliminate this hassle and make the entire process easier than ever.
New digital system ready in short time
Principal Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms Department, C.K. Under the leadership of Anil, the departmental team has developed this new system in a short time. It has been added under the filing-dismissal service of Bihar Land Portal, through which common citizens will be able to apply online sitting at home.
Big opportunity for those who divide verbally
The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to duly divide the land of their ancestors and get their share of land registered in their name through digital medium. He especially mentioned those people whose land is still being used on the basis of oral distribution. Through the new facility, such division can be recorded in the government records, which will avoid any kind of dispute in future.
The problem of being deprived of dispute will be less
According to the government, oral partition often leads to family land disputes. Apart from this, due to the land name not being clear in the records, many people are not able to avail the benefits of government schemes and facilities. The new system will prevent these problems to a great extent.
Also facility of inheritance-cum-distribution
The facility of succession-cum-distribution has also been added to the new system. Under this, after the death of an ancestor, while dividing his land, Jamabandi can be done separately in the name of all the heirs on their share of the land. This will also make the process simpler and faster in matters related to succession.
