China’s new feat – made a train without wheels, reached the speed of 700 Kmph in 2 seconds, see VIDEO

China Fastest Maglev Train: China has set a new world record in magnetic levitation (maglev) technology. In this test, China accelerated a maglev vehicle weighing one ton to a speed of 700 kilometers per hour in just two seconds. The test took place on China’s 400-meter-long maglev test line, where the vehicle was accelerated to high speed and then stopped safely. This is considered to be the fastest superconducting electric maglev test so far.

China’s high-speed trains currently run at a speed of about 350 km/h. It also has 5G network. By comparison, the average speed of a long-haul passenger aircraft is 547 to 575 mph (880 to 925 km/h). However, maglev technology is much faster than this, and could make travel even faster in the future.

What is maglev technology?

Maglev trains do not have wheels. Instead, superconducting magnets help the train float in the air above the track, completely eliminating friction and allowing for lightning-fast speeds. When this technology is used in low vacuum pipes, its speed increases even more. Due to this, maglev trains can run many times faster than normal trains.

December 25, 2025

China’s government channel CCTV released the video of this test on December 25, in which the vehicle was seen running fast. After the vehicle stopped, lines of fog were seen behind it. This test has not only solved speed but also many technical challenges. These have achieved success in areas such as high-speed electromagnetic propulsion, electric suspension, and guidance systems.

Another step towards hyperloop transport

Experts believe that after this success, China can move further in the direction of hyperloop transport. This means that in the future, travel between cities could be accomplished in minutes, not hours. The development of this technology can make long distance travel even faster and convenient, opening a new era in the field of transportation.
