Granddaughter of former PM Khaleda Zia brought an earthquake in Bangladesh, as the young face of BNP, she shook the country’s politics.

Like Tarique Rahman, son of former Bangladesh Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) President Khaleda Zia, her granddaughter Jaima Rahman has also returned to Bangladesh after 17 years. Acting Chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman, who returned to Bangladesh, is continuously trying to strengthen his political hold. He took out a road show from the party office to the Election Commission in Dhaka today. Tarique Rahman had reached the Election Commission office to register his name in the voter list and obtain a voter ID. During this time a large crowd of his supporters was seen.

30 year old Zaima Rahman studied law from Queen Mary University of London. He then obtained a barrister degree from Lincoln University. She has been a practicing barrister by profession in London. Since the coup in Bangladesh last year, she has been active in some virtual meetings of BNP. She is the only granddaughter of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Rehman (60), son of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, has emerged as the main contender for the post of Prime Minister in the upcoming elections. He said that he wants to create a safe Bangladesh where people can live in a peaceful environment without any distinction of caste, creed and faith.

Now the time has come that everyone should build the country together.’ Tariq Rehman along with wife Zubaida Rehman and daughter Zaima Rehman reached to meet mother Khaleda Zia. Thousands of BNP workers and supporters welcomed Tariq by raising slogans on both sides of the road leading to the hospital.
