The three-day National Chief Secretaries Conference has started from Friday in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The main objective of the conference is to strengthen human capital and strengthen the principles of cooperative federalism. Topics like education, skill development, sports, technology and tourism will be discussed in the conference. With this, a concrete strategy will be prepared to increase employment opportunities and strengthen education systems across the country.

History of the conference
This National Conference of Chief Secretaries is being organized every year for the last four years. The first conference was held in Dharamshala in June 2022, the second in January 2023, the third in December 2023 and the fourth in New Delhi in December 2024. This year’s fifth edition focuses on the theme of Human Capital for Developed India.
