Economic progress should not be limited to profits only, but should also be linked to social responsibilities. We need to move away from the Macaulay based education system and reinvest in our ancient values. On this occasion, he also handed over a letter of intent to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for investment of Rs 2,000 crore in Maharashtra.

Earlier, the program was formally inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, WHEF Founder Swami Vigyananand, Organizing Committee Chairman Rajesh Sharma, Shree Cement Limited Chairman Hari Mohan Bangur and JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal and prominent industrialists, policy makers, startup founders, business leaders and investors of the country were present.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis described the World Hindu Economic Forum as an important platform for cooperation and dialogue. He said, World Hindu Economic Forum is an effective medium to establish contacts and cooperation. There is an underlying Hindu philosophy at the core of our economic system. If we understand this correctly, we will emerge as a prosperous nation, strengthen social harmony and make meaningful contributions on the global stage.
