Teachers posted in these schools of UP, great news for students!
Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken serious steps regarding the posting of teachers in government schools of the state. Additional Chief Secretary Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma expressed strong displeasure over the non-deployment of a second teacher in many council schools having a single teacher despite the government order issued in November.
In the review meeting held on Friday, he reprimanded the District Basic Education Officers (BSA) of Gonda, Kushinagar and Prayagraj and several AD Basic officers and directed them to ensure the posting of another teacher by December 31 under any circumstances.
Mainly three issues were discussed in the meeting:
Teacher deployment in schools with single teacher
Adjustment of teachers in extended city area
Case of giving charge on the basis of seniority of head master
The Additional Chief Secretary warned the officers that if the instructions were ignored, punitive action would be taken. There were indications of strict action especially in cases where the senior teacher was not given the charge of head master.
Apart from this, displeasure was also expressed over not giving timely conversion cast to the cooks in Gonda district. This step will definitely benefit the students, because now by ensuring the deployment of a second teacher in schools with a single teacher, there will be less disruption in children’s education and the quality of education will improve. This initiative of the government shows that the administration is alert to improve the education system and emphasis is being laid on time-bound action.
