If there was justice, Kuldeep Sengar would have been taken to Yamraj, but… the victim of Unnao Rape Case said – all have been sold.

‘If the courts and CBI had helped honestly. both of these their own paths Would not have moved away from. Had there not been a political conspiracy in my case? So today, the double bench of Delhi High Court is suspending the sentence of Kuldeep Singh Sengar, a high profile criminal convicted of rape and murder, the same Kuldeep Sengar would have been hanged and Yamraj Sengar would have directly taken with him to the afterlife. But…here with me it has been quite the opposite.

The victim of Unnao rape case was narrating all these frank things in an exclusive conversation with Sanjeev Chauhan, Editor Crime Investigation of Read Hindi, at an unknown place in the country’s capital Delhi on 27 December 2025. In a brief but very important conversation, the victim shared many more pains buried in her heart.

All have been sold…

The victim, who was wandering from door to door from Unnao to Delhi in the hope of getting justice under the tight security of the Central Reserve Police Force i.e. CRPF, said, “Everyone has been sold out. No one has supported me honestly. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Maharaj ji (Yogi Adityanath) also assured me of getting justice. He even got the hearing of my cases transferred to the Delhi court. After coming here, the trial court sentenced the accused of rape and murder, Kuldeep Singh Sengar.” Somehow the punishments were also fixed.”

Not afraid even after three murders

“I wanted him (Kuldeep Singh Sengar) to be given death sentence. I lost my honor at his hands. When I protested against it. When I filed a case against Kuldeep Singh Sengar, he and his goons got my father, my aunt and my advocate lawyer killed. Another lawyer was attacked with murder. So that I and the people standing in my favor withdrew the case out of fear of Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his goons. I didn’t do this, even after three murders were committed in my family, I and my lawyers defended the case and gave two separate sentences to Kuldeep Singh on the charge of rape.

what was expected happened

In response to a question from Read Hindi, the victim said, “Why not make noise? Why not protest on the streets of Delhi. See how justice was sold out to the CBI. While giving the verdict, the trial court had clearly said that the CBI had left all the hurdles in preparing the charge sheet of the case. When the trial court said this, I and my lawyer understood that now I and my case and both the punishments given to the accused are over.” The same thing is happening in the High Court and the Supreme Court. The Delhi High Court has suspended the sentence of the accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar on the basis of the same shortcomings on which the trial court had already cast doubt on the CBI.

CBI paves the way for the case

During the special conversation, the victim was asked that the double bench of CBI and Delhi High Court is being directly accused by you of giving relief to the accused. You are putting the CBI and the judiciary in the dock. Whereas the trial court had sentenced the accused in your cases only on the basis of CBI investigation. Then how can the CBI and the judiciary or the judge be brought under suspicion? In response to all these questions of Read Hindi, Unnao Gang Rape Survivor said, “What did the CBI do in the trial court? They did nothing. Apart from leaving many holes in the investigation. There, the judge of the trial court was adamant on his decision. He gave the punishment even after bringing the CBI under the scanner. Otherwise, the CBI had made complete arrangements in the legal investigation and reached the trial court, so that Kuldeep Singh Sengar could easily escape from the trial court by taking the help of law.”

I am not blaming anyone

On one hand you say that the courts, the judge and the CBI are all sold out in your case, on the other hand in your case the judge and the courts also awarded two sentences to Kuldeep Singh Sengar. Why are you saying two different things? When asked, the Unnao rape victim said, “I am not accusing anyone in the air. When the trial court sentenced the accused and then I did not come out to protest on the streets of Delhi. When the double bench of the Delhi High Court suspended the sentence of the accused. That too within a few minutes.”

Then I would consider the judiciary right

“Then I felt that the CBI was under suspicion from the very beginning. With the help of the legal gun fired on the shoulders of the CBI’s negligence and the deliberate mistakes made in its trial, now even the judges of the double bench of the Delhi High Court have suspended the sentence of the accused. Isn’t this like blindly trusting the investigation of the deceitful CBI? I would have believed the double bench of the Delhi High Court then. When Kaabil was capable, instead of suspending the bail, she too, like the trial court, would have caught the holes deliberately left by the CBI in the investigation of the case and dragged the CBI on charges of negligence.”

Why is everything happening upside down?

“Yes, but it has gone exactly the opposite. Within a few minutes, the double bench of the Delhi High Court, after suspending the sentence of the accused, left the CBI as well. So, if I am speaking the truth now, then why is he being harsh on the judiciary, the accused and the CBI. Because the truth is always bitter. Since I am now speaking on the negligence of the judiciary (the double bench that suspended the sentence of Kuldeep Singh Sengar) and the CBI, I would like to express my gratitude to both these parties. It may seem bad that I am not begging for the justice that the trial court had already given me, but the double bench of the Delhi High Court took away the punishment.
