OnePlus Turbo series to be launched in China soon

In a post shared on Weibo, the Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that the OnePlus Turbo series will soon be launched in China. However, the tech firm has not yet shared any information about the upcoming lineup’s key specifications, features, design, color and launch date. Apart from this, no information has been given yet about which smartphone models will be launched in the OnePlus Turbo series and what will be their names. The features and launch date of the smartphone are likely to be released in the next few days.

Pre-booking of OnePlus Turbo series begins

The OnePlus Turbo series is now available for pre-order in China via the Oppo Online Store. In the country, this smartphone can be booked for a token price of CNY 1 i.e. around Rs 13. However, the listing did not provide any other information about the smartphone. The tech firm has revealed on Weibo that the soon-to-be-launched OnePlus Turbo series will be launched as a mid-range phone.

OnePlus Turbo Series Features and Specifications Leaked

Recently, the alleged renders of the OnePlus Turbo have been leaked online. The smartphone was spotted in green color with a hole-punch cutout display, which is tipped to have a front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone was spotted with a square-shaped rear camera module. The leaked photos reveal that the right side of the handset will house the power button and volume controls, while the left side will be empty. The rear panel is also expected to be made of plastic.

Talking about the specifications, according to the leaked report, the OnePlus Turbo will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The upcoming device is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Reports suggest that the phone could be powered by a 9,000mAh battery, which will support 80W wired fast charging. The smartphones are expected to be launched as part of the Nord lineup in select global markets including India.
