South Politics Heated: Kerala CM said bulldozer rule, then how did Siddaramaiah and DK show arrogance?

News India Live, Digital Desk: There is an old saying in politics that an enemy’s enemy is his friend. But in Karnataka, something opposite has been seen. Here, when it came to the honor of the house (state), two ‘rival’ brothers of the house (Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar) united and gave a befitting reply to the neighbor. Today we are talking about the same ‘bulldozer’, which has now come out of North India and is raising dust on the roads of the South. The issue is hot, let’s understand in simple language what is the matter? The story starts from ‘Yelahanka’, an area where the administration has removed illegal encroachments. Now the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, wrote a long post on the social media. He alleged that the Congress government of Karnataka is targeting the poor Muslims/minorities. That’s what, this comparison did not go well with Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar. ‘Double Attack’ We often hear that everything is not going well between CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar. Both of them took the lead. He scolded Vijayan and said, “Hey brother! We are not running bulldozers considering any caste or religion. That is government land and people there were living on garbage heaps, which was dangerous for their health. You are a neighbour, it does not mean that you will say anything without knowing the facts.” At the same time, CM Siddaramaiah also made it clear that his government is with the poor, but illegal occupation of government land will not be allowed. He said, “‘Bulldozer Raj’ does not work here, this was only a legal action. Don’t blow it out unnecessarily. What is the ‘inside story’? Two big things emerge in this fight: South vs North narrative: Pinarayi Vijayan deliberately used the term “North Indian Model”. This is a sensitive issue in the politics of the South. He wanted to show that Congress is now adopting BJP’s methods. Cracks in the alliance: Don’t forget that at the national level, Congress and Left (Vijayan’s party) are in ‘INDIA’ alliance. They are together. But they do not leave any chance to pull each other’s leg. The message of Karnataka’s leaders is very clear – “Take care of your house, do not interfere in our matter.” Politics has its place, but the pain of those families whose houses are broken is sad. But how much and when will this happen is a big question. At present, a bulldozer has soured the relations between the two states. What do you think? Or is DK Shivakumar’s anger justified?
