BJP expressed protest
BJP has given a sharp reaction to this statement. Party leader Nalin Kohli said, ‘Can RSS be compared with a jihadi organization? Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi should clarify their stand on this. This statement is condemnable.”
Digvijay Singh’s statement and clarification
Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh had made a post on social media, in which he shared an old picture of PM Modi. In this picture Modi was seen sitting on the ground. Digvijay Singh had written in this post, “How a grassroots volunteer of RSS, after becoming a worker of Jan Sangh and BJP, sat at the feet of the leaders and became the Chief Minister of the state and the Prime Minister of the country, this is the power of the organization.” After this he clarified that his aim was only to praise the strength of the organization. He said, ‘I have opposed RSS, Modi ji and his policies. Whatever I had to say, I said it in the CWC meeting.”
