Baramati: While inaugurating the Sharadchandra Pawar Center of Excellence in AI on Sunday, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that this is truly a historic moment for us. There are places in the world that are not just a dot on a map, but become an example of powerhouses of progress, change and opportunity. Baramati is a symbol of one such change, which has unlimited potential, made possible by the vision of an extraordinary leader and my mentor, Sharadchandra Pawar.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that leaders like him (Sharad Pawar) remind us that good politics is not about slogans, but about understanding that a country does not move forward by a single victory, but by the continuous synergy of its people, institutions and vision.

Gautam Adani said that I have had the privilege of knowing Sharad Pawar for more than three decades, and there is no comparison to what I have learned from him. It is his intelligence and empathy that leave the deepest impression. I have visited Baramati several times and what Sharad Pawar has achieved here is much more than development. He has brought about a transformation in agriculture, strengthened cooperatives and encouraged entrepreneurship.

Gautam Adani had earlier also visited Baramati in 2022, when he inaugurated the Science and Innovation Activity Center here. The relationship between Adani and the Pawar family is believed to be almost three decades old. This new AI Center of Excellence has been established with the aim of promoting Artificial Intelligence based education, innovation and skill development in the region.

AI will shape India’s development path and now there will be competition for global supremacy

On this occasion, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said, ‘This AI center will focus on agriculture, healthcare and innovation. Now AI is going to become the fourth foundation of India. AI will shape India’s development path. During this, Gautam Adani also said that AI will boost the development of Maharashtra. Gautam Adani said that India has taken a step forward in the global AI competition. AI is no longer just a technological race, but a competition for global dominance.

The program was attended by Sharad Pawar, Baramati MP Supriya Sule, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, his wife and Rajya Sabha MP Sunetra Pawar and other members of the Pawar family. Apart from this, NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar and Vidya Pratishthan treasurer Yugendra Pawar were also present.
