Army’s ‘Winter Strike’ in severe cold, terrorists surrounded from all sides in J&K
J&K: When the temperature in the valleys of Kashmir goes below zero and the mountains are covered with snow, then terrorists consider it to be the safest time to hide. But this time the Indian Army has proved his thinking completely wrong. About 30 to 35 terrorists have been surrounded from all sides in Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir, where on one side there is deadly cold and on the other side there is precise action of the army.
Terrorists fled into the mountains, but roads were closed
According to intelligence agencies, when the terrorists realized that they were encircled, they ran towards higher areas. They thought that they would escape by hiding in the snowy mountains and deserted areas, but the army’s strategy has trapped them in a maze. There is neither population, nor ration nor safe havens in these areas.
Temporary bases built in snowy areas
According to sources, the Indian Army and security forces have set up temporary camps and monitoring posts in the snow-covered areas. Due to this, every movement of the terrorists is being monitored. The location of terrorists is being continuously tracked through drones, surveillance equipment and ground inputs, which has made it more difficult for them to escape.
Many agencies are running the operation together
Not only the Army, but also Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, SOG, Civil Administration, Forest Guard and Village Defense Guards are involved in this big anti-terrorism operation. All the agencies together analyze the intelligence and then execute joint operations with precise planning. This is the reason why terrorists are not able to feel safe anywhere.
