Lawyers T-20 final set: Title clash between Delhi High Court and Supreme Court
Lucknow, Read: The picture of the final match of All India Lawyers T-20 cricket tournament has become clear. The teams of Delhi High Court and Supreme Court will face each other in the title match. In the semi-final matches played on Saturday, Delhi High Court defeated Lucknow High Court by six wickets while Supreme Court entered the final by defeating Madhya Pradesh High Court by 39 runs. Tournament co-ordinator and advocate Vaibhav Jain said that before the semi-final matches, Rae Bareli Sadar MLA Aditi Singh introduced herself to the players and conducted the toss.
In the first semi-final played at Dr. Akhilesh Das Stadium, Lucknow High Court, batting first, scored 137 runs at the loss of nine wickets. Abdullah scored the maximum 33 runs on behalf of the team. Deepak Rathi, Pradeep and Madhur took two wickets each for Delhi High Court. Chasing the target, Delhi High Court won by losing four wickets in 14.3 overs. Ankit played a brilliant half-century of unbeaten 59 runs with the help of four fours and five sixes in 29 balls. Ashutosh got two wickets from Lucknow High Court.
In the second semi-final played at Career Cricket Ground, Supreme Court, batting first, scored 207 runs losing eight wickets. Mayank Wadhwa played important innings of 49 runs and Govind played 39 runs. For Madhya Pradesh High Court, Naidu took three wickets, while Harjot Singh took two wickets. In reply, the Madhya Pradesh High Court team could score only 168 runs after losing eight wickets. Zeeshan Khan scored 44 runs on behalf of the team. Supreme Court bowler Rishabh Malik performed brilliantly and took five wickets for 26 runs.
