Neeraj Chopra and Himani Mor’s reception party, PM Modi arrives

New Delhi: India’s leading athlete Neeraj Chopra recently got married to former tennis player Himani Mor. After this, both of them organized a grand reception party, in which the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi also attended.

A video of this special occasion has gone viral on social media, in which PM Modi is seen giving gifts to the newly married couple and getting photographs clicked with them. He blessed both of them and wished them all the best for their new journey.

Marriage took place in January

Neeraj Chopra married Himani Mor in the month of January. The wedding was organized as an extremely private ceremony, with only family members and close friends in attendance. Neeraj shared this good news through pictures on social media.

After almost a year of marriage, Neeraj and Himani organized a reception party. The first reception was held in Karnal, Haryana on 26 December, while the second reception was held at The Leela Palace, Delhi on 27 December. The event was attended by many famous personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

PM Narendra Modi met the newly married couple at a reception held in Delhi. It can be seen in the video that he gave them gifts and also blessed them. Earlier, Neeraj and Himani had also met PM Modi at his residence, where they discussed sports and other topics.

Neeraj Chopra is considered one of the most successful athletes in the Indian sports world. He brought glory to India by winning the gold medal in javelin throw in Tokyo Olympics 2020. Apart from this, he also won a silver medal in Paris Olympics 2024. He has also been a gold medal winner in the World Championship and Diamond League.

Himani Mor is a former tennis player who holds a degree in Sports Management from Franklin Pierce University, USA. Along with this, he has also studied Political Science and Physical Education from Miranda House, Delhi.
