4,224 workers of Uttarakhand got benefit of Rs 12.89 crore, CM Dhami started new facility at 191 CSC centers – Keep an eye on every movement of media world.

Uttarakhand News: Giving great relief to the workers of the state, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami transferred a total amount of Rs 12 crore 89 lakh 85 thousand to the accounts of 4224 workers under various schemes of ‘Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’. During the program organized at the Chief Minister Camp Office, this amount was sent directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), thereby ensuring transparency and timely assistance.

Special facility started in 191 Common Service Center

CM Dhami started another important initiative to remove the problems faced by workers in availing the benefits of government schemes. He launched special arrangements for workers in 191 Common Service Centers (CSC) across the state. The aim of this initiative is to provide information related to schemes, registration and renewal facilities to the workers at one place, so that they do not have to make unnecessary trips to government offices.

Labor is a strong foundation for the development of the state: CM Dhami

Addressing the program, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that workers are the strongest foundation of the development of the state and their contribution in building infrastructure is incomparable. He clarified that the state government is fully committed to solving every problem of the workers. The aim of the government is to make the future of the workers and their families who play an important role in the development of the state secure and strong.

Government’s focus on economic security and skill development

Direct help will be provided at block and tehsil level

CM Dhami said that due to the special arrangement started in 191 common service centres, now the workers will get all the necessary services at the block, tehsil and village level. Having facilities like registration, renewal and applying for schemes nearby will save both time and money of the workers.

Profit of Rs 51 crore in last six months

On this occasion, information was given that an amount of about Rs 51 crore has been transferred by the Workers’ Board to the accounts of workers and their families in the last six months. Even before this, the system of registration and renewal at the development block level was started by the Board, which has provided huge benefits to the workers.

He said that in the coming times too, the Board will continue to make continuous efforts for labor welfare following the mantra of Chief Minister’s vision ‘Simplification, Solution, Disposal and Satisfaction’. On this occasion, State Contract Labor Advisory Board Chairman Kailash Pant, Deputy Labor Commissioner Vipin Kumar, Assistant Labor Commissioner Dharamraj, IT expert Durga Chamoli and many other officials were present.
